Programme
- Lectures and workshops focused on science and technology
- Project based learning, teamwork, presentations
- 3D printers, laptops, measuring instruments, mBot robots, Raspberry Pi with sensors and a lot of other equipment will be available for the project work
- Solving ciphers during a team game
- Teambuilding, competitions, board games focused on strategy, reasoning and logic
- Berlin sightseeing on the arrival day

- Early bird price (registration and payment before 31 March) is EUR 455, after this date the price will be EUR 17 higher
- All Mensa members have a discount of EUR 8
- Cancellation policy: cancellations made 60 days or more before the event will receive 100% refund, cancellations made 59-45 days before the event will receive 50% refund, cancellations made later will not receive any refund
Date and Time
- EMSC begins on Sunday 19 July at 12:30 (train rj 178 Berliner arrival)
- Meeting point is Berlin Hbf train station
- There is a direct train from Prague, Paris und Stralsund and direct flights from 162 airports around the world.
- On Sunday 26 July at 9:00, the participants will present their projects and all parents are welcome to see them. The presentations will finish at 10:30.
Our Team
Tomas Blumenstein
- The main co-ordinator, responsible for the programme, lectures, projects and trips
- Tomas has been working with gifted children for many years, he organizes regular seminars focused on science, summer camps, and he also works as an education consultant
- Vice-chairman of Mensa Czechia, a member of IBD of Mensa International
Natalie Kanakova
- Responsible for communication with participants, health and diets
- Responsible for teambuilding, competitions and games
- Natalie studies at the Faculty of Education, Charles University, teaches Maths and Computer Science and loves playing chess – she has achieved the title of Woman International Master

Muhammad Hamza
- Responsible for the programme, projects, lectures and technical support
- Hamza holds a degree in Computer Science, specializing in Embedded Systems; his professional experience includes collaborations with renowned tech companies such as Siemens Industries and he has made significant contributions to the open-source Yocto Project
- Hamza has extensive experience in STEM education, having worked with children and facilitated various activities at Makerspaces
David Splichal
- Responsible for projects, technical support and games
- David likes to play board games, ball dancing and music
Matej Mothejzik
- Responsible for projects, technical support and games
- Matej likes to play with technology, 3D printing and to play the piano
Onyx
- Responsible for projects and games
