On December 1st, the Ball Games Room of Prague Castle witnessed the national finals of the 7th year of the Logical Olympiad. More than 190 competitors in three age categories (A, B, C) from all over the Czech Republic competed in puzzles and logical problem solving.

On Friday, 7^th November, a regional round of the Logical Olympiad took place in the Hradec Králové Region, just like in the remaining regions of the Czech Republic. In all, over 150 participants, who succeeded against a competition of 2,555 registered pupils and students from the region, competed in the Hradec regional round in three categories.

The regional round of the Logical Olympiad took place on 7^th November, among other regions, also in the Olomouc Region. Everything started at 7AM with the meeting of organizers – volunteers who devoted their own time, and some of them even a day of annual leave. From 9:30AM, participants, almost 150 of them, started to arrive at Národní dům, usually accompanied by parents or teachers. Many of the smaller ones appeared to suffer from stage fright, while the older ones – grammar school students – emanated good moods and composure.
