What happened in Children’s Mensa in 2013?

A multitude of activities aimed at our youngest members were organized in 2013. The Logical Olympiad, with more than 41,000 participants was, as usual, the most significant, however all of the small events bringing Mensa’s activities to even the most remote parts of the country can certainly be considered equally important.


The website deti.mensa.cz celebrates its first birthday!

The website deti.mensa.cz was launched by the end of 2012, due to the ever increasing range of Mensa CR activities aimed at gifted children, their parents, and teachers. On an international scale, Mensa CR is doing exceptionally well in the field of these activities. Projects such as the Mensa Grammar School and Logical Olympiad are unique among Mensa organizations worldwide. All of that led the Executive Board of Mensa CR to the decision to create a dedicated website for the presentation of Mensa activities for gifted children, and thereby to give it greater visibility than it had before 2012.


Masaryk University experts will be helping in developing gifted children

Experts from the Faculty of Education and Faculty of Social Studies of the Masaryk University in Brno intend to help gifted children develop their abilities. As the attention paid to the gifted children in the Czech Republic has been insufficient so far, the Masaryk University launched a project aimed at talented pupils of primary schools, as well as at their teachers, in the South Moravian Region.
